Invisible Gallery

Invisible Gallery

Mobile app design turning generative art into real-world paintings delivered to your home

Overview

Invisible Gallery is an AI-powered platform that allows users to create custom art and have it hand-painted by professional artists and delivered to their home.

The product launched at SXSW in March 2024.

Problem

Finding the perfect piece of art for your wall has always been a challenge, especially for people who want something truly personal.

Traditional art buying is expensive and intimidating, while existing online galleries lack customization.

Users needed an intuitive way to explore their creativity and commission bespoke artwork without the typical barriers of cost, expertise, or access to artists.

Solution

I designed wireframes, user flows, and the UI for the app experience, from initial inspiration through art creation to checkout and order tracking.

The onboarding flow I designed guides users through a clear, engaging process that makes AI art generation approachable and fun.

After user testing, I introduced a major navigation restructure introducing "Your Studio"—a unified space for user-specific content like generated art and orders—which solved the problem of features being too scattered across the app.

Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with developers and other designers to ensure a smooth handoff and build process.
